Festivals in America

 1. Balloon Festival Adirondack
Take in the color, grandeur and spectacle of the Adirondack balloon festival is the oldest and largest balloon event on the American East coast. Set against the backdrop of the majestic Adirondack mountains, dozens of balloons of all shapes and sizes rise up into the sky for four days in September.

Note:in the first days of the festival were held at Adirondack College, known as the Adirondacks of new York state. As events escalated, a large site was needed to accommodate the growing number of balloons and spectators. The new website was the airport Rustland, where the festival continues to be held today. 
At the festival you will be able to try the Turkey and pie.

2. Aspen Ideas Festival
The aspen ideas festival Premier social events for leaders from around the world and in many areas, to engage in deep and inquisitive discussion of the ideas and issues that both forms, at the time.



For ten days in late June-early July, the festival includes some 350 presenters, 200 sessions, and draws 3,000 participants at the aspen Institute in Colorado. The event attracts provocative thinkers, writers, artists, business people, teachers and politicians, and topics for discussion vary from year to year.At the festival you will be offered snacks and hot tea.
3. Austin city limits
Over two weekends each October, Zilker Park plays host to Austin City Limits (ACL), a monster of a Texas music fest featuring some of the world's hardest hitting headliners. On top of 130 artists doing their thing on stage, ACL features an art market where you can pick up all sorts of bits and bobs from dozens of local artisans. Featuring fare from funnel cakes to turkey legs, Austin Eats will ensure you're well fed.


4.Bald Eagle Gathering
An unexpected highlight of any visit to North America is to catch a glimpse of the region's iconic Bald Eagle. Whether sitting regally atop a tree surveying the ground for prey or in majestic full flight it's a memory that remains vivid for a long, long time. A long time that is until you visit Haines, Alaska for their annual Bald Eagle Festival. Festival highlights include the release of many previously-injured, rehabilitated Eagles back to the wild, art exhibitions, naturalist-guided tours of the Bald Eagle Reserve and live bird presentations. All in all quite the spectacle and an ornithologists dream come true. 


5. Brooklyn Folk Festival
They hang a little looser over the bridge in Brooklyn. For three days this Spring, head for heavenly St. Ann's Church in Brooklyn Heights and relish the relaxed vibe at the Brooklyn Folk Festival.
Experience 30 bands as they serve up a smorgasbord of folk, old-time string-band music, jug band, bluegrass, traditional Irish and Balkan jazz. There's vocal and instrumental workshops, family-friendly square dance and swing dance sessions, film screenings, the famous Banjo Toss contest and a whole lot more.
